PROPERTIES AND LEASE ADMINISTRATOR

Jumbo the Clothing Co., has an exciting opportunity for a Property Lease Administrator at our Head Office in East London. (HO). We have one (1) vacancy to fill.

The Property Lease Administrator will be responsible for managing the leasing processes and all documentation related to the leasing process within the company.

Key Accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

Property Lease Administration

  •  Consult and Negotiate with landlords regarding commercial terms and trading issues
  •   Lease Reviews
  •   Review general terms and conditions of all leases
  •   Create, organize, edit and maintain all property, tenant and lease administration documentation
  •   Receipt and respond to all queries and correspondence from Landlords
  •   Ensure timeous renewal of all leases
  •   Preparation of all rental payments to ensure payments are executed timeously
  •   Draft renewal schedules
  •   Draft and compile lease agreements
  •   Cancellation agreements
  •   Lease abstractions
  •   Suggest cost-saving idea’s
  •   Assist / Liase with finance department regarding timeous rental payments
  •   Assist and Support in the delivery and management of the company lease portfolio
  •   Liase with landlords regarding all maintenance issues related to rental properties
  •   Facilitation and co-ordination of repairs and maintenance relating to rental properties

Reporting

  • Report on occupancy levels
  • Report on increases and budget trends
  • Report on property related maintenance issues and expenses
  • Report / Evaluate on timeous / professionalism of maintenance repairs carried out

Minimum requirements for the job:

  •  Matric Certificate.
  • Valid Driver’s Licence – Code 8 unendorsed
  • Computer Literate: Word and Excel, Powerpoint & Outlook
  • 2 – 5 years experience in a similar role (property and lease administration)
  • Legal background – advantageous
  • Accounting background – advantageous

ASSISTANT MANAGER BOWLS ROAD

Jumbo the Clothing Co., has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Manager in our store in Bowls Road (BEBR). We have one (1) vacancy to fill.

The purpose of this position is to have a successful individual that can be responsible for assisting in managing an individual store through execution of:

  • the marketing and operations plans,
  • co-ordinates specific marketing, administrative, logistics, HR, sales and operations sequences and
  • Attends to the general applications and interventions associated with the functionality of the shop.
  • Manages the store in absence of Store Manager.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Staff Management

  • Disciplining and counselling of staff
  • Assist with training as required
  • Staffs register management – late arrivals / early departures.
  • Managing Cash Desk Area (where applicable)
  • Monthly Float Register
  • Planning of staff tea, lunch breaks and day off. 

 Shop Floor Functions

  • Promote customer service and an environment conducive to a pleasant shopping experience
  • Ensure shop floor assistants are executing duties
  • Assist with merchandising in all departments as required
  • Ensuring high level of housekeeping is maintained (cleaning roster)
  • Relieve in departments during lunch times, day off’s

Administration Function

  • Control the standard of administration and procedures in the store
  • Assist supervisor/admin controller with cash controlling function
  • Authorizing all transactions on 3A Level
  • Spot checks on cashiers
  • Controlling of Lay Byes and RTS – in the absence

Other Functions

  • Act as Branch Manager in the absence of Branch Manager
  • Performing any reasonable duties delegated by the Branch Manager

Minimum requirements for the job:

  • Matric Certificate.
  • NQF 4/5 Certificate or Diploma in Retail/Business Management preferable.
  • Valid Driver’s Licence – Code 8 unendorsed
  • 2-5 years in relevant Sales/retail/operations environment as an Assistant Manager

BUYERS ASSISTANT HEAD OFFICE

Jumbo the Clothing Co., has an exciting opportunity for a Buyers Assistant at our Head Office in East London. We have one (1) vacancy to fill.

The purpose of this position is to assist the Buyers with managing their orders, supply chain and samples.

Responsibilities:

Order Administration

  • Update OTB (Open to Buy) sheets and notify Buyers
  • Administration of all products and orders placed by Buyers
  • Product and orders control checks to ensure data integrity
  • Manage Kimble, swing tag and courier requirements

Reporting

  • Follow up on outstanding orders and report to Buyers
  • Compile competitive pricing reports
  • Assist Buyers in compiling specific reports eg, best/worst sellers, promotion product

Delivery and Quality Approvals

  • Sign off product deliveries against Buyers order specifications
  • Sign off on product quality using sample received from warehouse

Sample Control

  • Sample follow ups with suppliers
  • Maintain sample archiving processes
  • Prepare samples for review and promotional activities
  • Compile review outcome document
  • Assist with sample management in the promotion process and oversee correct use of product on Buyers behalf.

Store support

  • Timeous feedback to relevant persons on store and customer enquiries.

Minimum requirements for the job:

  • Excellent administrative skills.
  • Qualification in Fashion Design
  • Expertise in data capture.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changes in a demanding environment
  • Outstanding communication skills.
  • Matric with 2 years’ experience in a similar administrative role.
  • A valid code 8 driver’s license
  • Experience in a similar role in retail buying is advantageous.
